To become close friends to the people is the basic principles for leading cadres when joining in the political work. It embodies the purpose and requirement of the party members,while it is also the effective method to improve the political legitimacy and the satisfaction of the general public. In the history of the Republic,the models of leading cadres have given us the examples of ＂being close friends to the people＂for all the party members and leaders with their practical activities. The leading cadres should study from the heroes and models,put the interests of the people in the first place,set up the consciousness for the people,improve their ability to serve the people,do more practical things for them,and only in this way can they really become the most reliable close friends to the broad masses.
