认知视野下汉英双关的异同分析

汉英民族在语言建构过程中思维的共同性使谐音双关与一词多义双关成为汉英双关的共有类型,对智慧与幽默的共同追求使汉英双关在语用功能上表现出一致特征。但是思维的民族个性又使汉英双关在类型以及语用功能上表现出差别。语法双关、比喻式双关、析字双关在汉语中广泛存在,语用功能上更多地运用于个人情感与态度的含蓄表达;而英语中的同词异义双关与歧解双关在汉语中虽然也存在相应的语言现象,但并未划入双关范围,这是汉英民族思维差异的体现。

In the process of language construction ,the common thinking made the homophonic puns and the sylleptic pun the common types of the two languages The common pursuit of wisdom and sense of humor makes Chinese and English puns have some common characteristics in pragmatic functions .However ,the personalities of national think-ing make Chinese and English puns exhibit some differences in types and pragmatic functions .Syntax puns,meta-phors puns and words analysis puns are widespread in Chinese .They are more used in subtle expressions of personal feelings and attitudes in pragmatic functions .There are corresponds of English antanaclasis and asterisms in Chi-nese ,but they are not included in pun range ,which reflects the differences of national thinking of Chinese and Eng-lish.
