The enhancement of medical students＇ medical humanistic quality is an important factor in the construction of a harmonious doctorpatient relationship and the improvement of therapeutic effect. In language teaching classes like College English, the infiltration of medical humanism in literary reading on the basis of the interpretation of illness narrative and the inspiration of empathy between doctors and patients can effectively help medical students to learn about illness and patients, enhance their empathy and humanistic care consciousness, therefore, it provides new angles and means for the cultivation of medical students＇ medical humanistic quality.
