摘要
尽管中国的英语教育越来越重视听力教学,但学生的听力水平仍是弱项,因此对二语听力理解进行研究显得十分迫切。专家学者的研究多局限于听力能力个别因素,且多以定性研究为主,跨学科多因素研究还不多见。本研究将认知心理学中的工作记忆引入二语听力理解研究,以实证性方式探讨这个变量对二语学习者听力语篇理解产生的潜在影响。
L2 education in China has put much emphasis on listening, but the listening proficiency of Chinese students is still far from satisfaction. Therefore, the study on listening comprehension is of great importance and val- ue. Linguists and scholars have been working on the factors that may influence L2 listening comprehension. However, the relevant studies are limited in qualitative research and confined to single factor instead of multiple ones, let alone cross-disciplinary studies. This paper reports on an empirical study of the role of working memory (WM) in L2 listening comprehension.
