Ink-stones are indispensable stationery in the traditional Chinese study. Because of solid texture, they can be handed down from ancient times. As stone texture as well as style and shape varies, they are appreciated by collectors and users. Many Qing Dynasty ink-stones are stored at the Hebei Province Museum. As some are used by the celebrity and sealed with inscription, they represent high humanistic value.
