“八角金盘”原植物考证

Textual criticism of the original plant of“Ba Jiao Jin Pan”

摘要 "八角金盘"是我国民间的一种中草药,清《本草从新》收录时误与"八角枫"混淆,即存在"同名异物";清《植物名实图考》却认为"八角金盘"与"八角枫"为"同物异名",殊欠详考;近代以来,将日本产而中国无的五加科植物Fatsia japonica(Thunb.)Decne.et Planch.考订为"八角金盘",则更加谬误。经反复考证确认,今小檗科我国特有植物六角莲Dysosma pleiantha(Hance)Woodson应是八角金盘的正品,同属植物八角莲D.versipellis(Hance)M.Cheng ex Ying和川八角莲D.veitchii(Hemsl.et Wils.)Fu ex Ying,在古代和民间,亦作"八角金盘"入药,也是其原植物之一;它们至今均有八角金盘之称,亦可佐证。 "Ba Jiao Jin Pan"has been a name for a traditional Chinese medicinal herb since Ming and Qing dynasties.The book Ben Cao Cong Xin in Qing Dynasty included "Ba Jiao Jin Pan",and confused it with Alangium chinense erroneously,namely that there existed a"homonym".Textual Research on Reality and Titles of Plants in Qing Dynasty considered"Ba Jiao Jin Pan"and Alangium chinense as"synonyms",which particularly lacked detailed textual research.In modern times,our country’s indigenous plant– "Ba Jiao Jin Pan"has been taken as Fatsia japonica(Thunb.)Decne.et Planch.which originated in Japan and was not a natural plant of China.This finding was even more fallacious.Textual research confirmed that"Ba Jiao Jin Pan"belongs to genus Dysosma Woodson,Berberidaceae,which is unique to China.Among the genus of Dysosma Woodson,Dysosma pleiantha(Hance)Woodson is the genuine"Ba Jiao Jin Pan".The plants– D.versipellis(Hance)M.Cheng ex Ying and D.veitchii(Hemsl.et Wils.)Fu ex Ying belonging to the same genus as"Ba Jiao Jin Pan",were also considered as the same thing in feudal times and among the people.Until now,they both share the name of"Ba Jiao Jin Pan",which corroborates the author’s findings.
