由“数位人文研究法”探《皇明经世文编》所载明初的海洋朝贡议论

Exploring the Discussions of Paying Tribute by Sea in the Early Ming Dynasty by Means of “Digital Humanities Approach”

以《皇明经世文编》第一卷至第三十五卷所收录32位士人的文论作品为范围(其时代对应主要是太祖洪武、惠宗建文、成祖永乐三朝),再藉由现代数位人文的研究方法,以"海"、"贡"、"安南"、"交址"、"朝鲜(高丽)"等词汇为关键字词,于"中国哲学书电子化计划"维基版所收录的《皇明经世文编》中检索相关文献,以探讨明初的海洋朝贡议论特色,同时并探讨数位人文研究方法的操作进程及其优缺点,得出的结论为:明初的海洋朝贡议论,具有专议安南入贡对治策略、颂扬海外来华朝贡盛况、通论海外藩国入贡事宜等三项特色;采用"数位人文研究法",须以复合式的多层次检索进行,具处理巨量数据之便捷性,仍有多收或漏收数据的疑虑,关键词字词的设准直接影响文献搜寻。

By studying literary theories of the 32 scholars selected in volumes 1 to 35（ 1368 ~ 1424） of Huang Ming Jing Shi Wen Bian（ Compilation of Writings in the Ming Dynasty）,this paper uses the Digital Humanities Approach to identify the characteristics of paying tribute by sea in the early Ming dynasty. It is also important to find out if this approach could achieve the purpose of this paper and its pros and cons. Keywords such as ＂sea＂, ＂tribute＂, ＂Annan＂, ＂Jiaozhi ＂, and ＂Korea ＂ are used to collect data from the Huang Ming Jing Shi Wen Bian in the electronic database of Chinese Text project. The results show that the discussions of paying tribute by sea in the early Ming dynasty include the responding strategy to Annan＇s tribute paying,compliments on the oversea countries＇ paying tribute to the Ming dynasty,and ways to pay tribute by the oversea countries. The Digital Humanities Approach must be used with multi- level search,which makes data collection more efficient though it was possible to include unnecessary information or miss relevant data during the process. The choice of keywords also has a profound impact on the accuracy of the search,which should also be taken into consideration.
