In different times,as a historical figure,Confucius has been given different value connotation. In the modern and contemporary novels of different periods,Confucius is fashioned into a variety of different image. This paper analyses Confucius＇ image features in different texts and cleans up inherit route of Confucius＇ images in the modern and contemporary novels. At he same time it digs the meaning of different Confucius＇ image deeply,inquiries effects of rewriting novels and provides a reference for the same type of literary creation.
