文章结合女性主义理论对布兰琪和嘉莉两个人物形象进行对比,通过分析她们相似的经历与相反的命运,进而认为在男权社会下女性只有自食其力,在思想、经济、情感上真正独立才能摆脱男性的束缚,实现自我的人生价值。

The heroine Blanche in the play The Street Car Named Desire and the heroine Carrier in the novel Sister Carrier have similar experiences, but their destiny is quite different. This paper tries to combine the theory of feminism to compare the t~,＇o characters. By comparing their similar experiences and different destiny, the paper tries to put forward that in patriarchal society only by gaining independence in thought,economy and emotion from men can women get rid of men＇s bondage and realize themselves.
