Textbook illustrations in combination with the text content can form specific teaching aid of pictures, which can deepen students＇ understanding of the text content and improve teachers＇ teaching quality. So we must understand the specific information contained in the pictures of the text and carefully design our teaching. In primary school mathematics teaching, picture aids mainly focus on the thinking training of students. How to improve teaching quality with the help of picture aid and fully display its function is mainly discussed in this paper.
