摘要
听后口头复述是一项常见的综合性口语测试任务,被广泛应用于大规模英语口语测试中。然而,各考试大纲对该任务所考查的语言能力描述不一,缺乏对其测试构念的统一界定。本文结合交际语言能力模型的最新发展,从认知心理学视角出发,探究和明确听后口头复述任务的测量目标。听后口头复述是一种创造性综合思维过程,也是构建"意义"的认知过程。听后口头复述任务能够考查受试者运用各种知识和策略识别、提取信息并对其进行口头重述的语言理解能力和表达能力。
Listening-based oral retelling is a common integrated speaking task,which is frequently utilized in large scale English speaking tests. However,the task construct is not clearly defined in those tests,resulting in different construct explanation and score interpretation. Based on the latest theoretical development of the Communicative Language Ability framework and from the perspective of cognitive psychology,this study aims to define the listening-based oral retelling task construct. Listening-based oral retelling represents a creative and comprehensive thinking process and a meaning construction process. The task measures the ability to recognize and recall the detailed information of the listening stimulus and reproduce the information orally by applying one's linguistic and non-linguistic knowledge and strategies.
