空间关系视角下介词on的多义性研究

An Analysis of Polysemy of Preposition “on”from the Perspective of Spatial Relations

本文从空间关系的角度出发,通过分析学习型词典中介词on的释义和例句,发现其多义性词义分别呈现出承载关系、牵制关系、覆盖关系、内置关系和比邻关系这五种空间关系。经研究发现,介词on的多义性源于其展示的空间关系,词义与词义间是以这些空间关系为基础紧密联系在一起,并呈现出一定的规律。

By analyzing the senses and examples of preposition＂on＂given in learners＇ dictionaries from the perspective of spatial relations,this paper finds that the senses of ＂on＂can demonstrate five spatial relations： support relation,constraint relation,covering relation,inclusion relation and proximity relation. Based on this study,it can be found that the polysemy of preposition ＂on＂originates from its demonstrated spatial relations,and the senses are closely related to one another on occount of these spatial relations,with regularity to conform to.
