摘要
由于直流故障熄弧问题,柔性直流系统中、大容量直流断路器的商业应用尚不成熟。利用换流器自身实现直流故障自清除成为未来柔性直流系统直流故障隔离的主要手段。针对近年来国内外学者提出的各类具有直流故障自清除能力的模块化多电平换流器(modular multilevel converter,MMC)子模块,该文对其关键性能进行了详细的分析比较。通过理论计算,分析了各类子模块的故障隔离速度和交流源阻断能力,并通过仿真进行验证。此外,从投资成本和附加功率损耗两个角度,结合算例分析,对各类子模块的经济性进行了分析比较。所取得的研究成果能够为工程实际中换流器子模块的选择提供理论依据与参考。
Due to the arc extinguish problem, the commercial application of the high-voltage and large-capacity DC circuit breaker is still not very realistic in the flexible DC system. Therefore, eliminating the dc fault current based on the converter itself becomes one of the most ideal DC fault isolation methods. According to the modular multilevel converter sub-modules with DC fault eliminating capability proposed in the recent years, this paper made comprehensive analysis and comparison. By theoretical analysis and simulation verification, the fault isolation speed and AC-side source blocking capability among different sub-modules were compared. In addition, the economy research was also discussed combining with the case analysis in this paper, including the investment and additional power loss. The research results can provide theoretical foundation and reference for the practical engineering.
