Discussion on the Significance of the Traditional Culture Transformation to Socio-economic Development in Minority Regions

研究表明,民族地区传统文化中保守、随性、宿命、低效等思想和行为仍是阻碍经济社会发展的人文因素所在。我们应以开放的态度对待传统文化转型,在传承优秀传统文化元素的同时,也应该剔除阻碍经济社会发展的成分,并通过培育社会民众现代文化素养来实现促进经济社会快速发展,改变民族地区贫困落后现状的根本目标。

Research shows that the thoughts and behaviors of conservation, laissez-faire, fate-believing and inefficiency in the traditional culture in minority regions are the humanity factors hindering the socio-economic development. We should hold an open attitude to the traditional culture transformation. We should not only inherit fine elements but also remove obstacles in traditional culture to socio-economic development, and cultivate the social public in minority regions with modem culture literacy in order to realize the fundamental goal of promoting the rapid socio-economic development and changing the current situation of poverty and backwardness in minority regions,
