From Tri- County to Nanyue Kingdom: the New Narration of “Lu Liang” from Qin and Han Dynasties

历史上的岭南地区纳入统一王朝版图,经历了从秦始皇的岭南三郡之设至汉武帝平定南越国的历程。司马迁对秦汉之际中央王朝经略岭南的记述中,以"陆梁"指称岭南百越之地,既是一个地理区域的所指,更是岭南自然地理和人文地理性格的指称。其中寄寓了秦汉之际官方话语系统中的岭南观念和为解决岭南百越孤悬问题所采取的特别措施。"陆梁"之说兼有了地理和文化的双重内涵。

Thehistory of Lingnan areabeing includedinto the unified dynasty territory, experienced from Lingnan three countiesatQin Shi Huang’s ruling time,to the Nanyue kingdom at Emperor WuDi’s ruling time.According to Sima Qian'srecordsof the plans and management of Lingnanduring the Qin and HanDynasties, “Luliang” which isreferred toLingnan Baiyue, is a geographical region and also has areference of Lingnan Nature and human geography character. Thenarration of Lingnan during the Qin and Han Dynasties concludes the understanding of Lingnan inofficial discourse system and t the special measures of including lingnan into the unifiedterritory.“Luliang” has both geographical and cultural connotations.
