摘要
优质教材是大学英语课程实现教学目标的重要媒介之一。本研究通过师生满意度问卷、教师反思日志及访谈等工具,对"新目标大学英语系列教材"之《综合教程》的试用情况进行调查分析。研究发现,师生较为认可教材的3个方面:(1)选材多元,目标和定位明确,工具性与人文性兼备;(2)技能任务设计合理,有机融合,自成体系;(3)学生语言、文化、思辨和自主学习能力等得到有效培养。
Coursebooks of high quality are vital in achieving teaching and learning objectives of college English courses. Based on teacher and student questionnaires,teachers' reflection diaries and interviews,this study investigates the trial users' feedback on the Integrated Course in the New Target College English Series. The findings show that on the whole,the teachers and students are satisfied with the coursebooks,mainly because:( 1) with a great variety of materials and clear and specific objectives,the coursebooks not only serve as tools for teaching English to the students,but also enlighten them with humanistic values;( 2) the tasks in the coursebooks are reasonably designed,logically integrated,and systematically organized;( 3) the coursebooks are effective in improving the students' language proficiency,cultural awareness,critical thinking skills and autonomous learning ability.
