摘要
在英语学术论文写作教学中,语类的作用越来越受到关注。本研究基于语类理论提出GBI"六步"教学路径,即"解构—建模—再认—模仿—评议—独立写作",并用其对英语专业大三学生进行论文文献综述写作训练。教学结果显示,GBI教学指导学生的文献综述写作作用明显,学生语类意识增强,语类知识增长,在语类结构、语言规范性等方面的认知和运用能力明显提高。GBI教学是一种有效的写作教学范式。
Increasing importance has been attached to genres in English academic writing instruction in recent years.This study puts forward a six-step Genre-Based Instruction( GBI) approach( deconstructing,modeling,identifying,imitating,peer reviewing and independent writing),and adopts it to teach academic writing of literature reviews to junior English majors. The data from the instruction practice show that the GBI approach plays an important role in guiding the students to write well-organized and academically accepted literature reviews,and the students have a significantly better command of generic structures and linguistic formality with improved genre awareness and knowledge.The GBI approach proves to be an effective pedagogical paradigm for English academic writing instruction.
