基础英语与专业英语有效衔接的路径和方法——以钦州学院航海专业为例

Methods and Approaches of Effective Transition between Comprehensive English and Specialized English——A Case Study of Navigation Major in Qinzhou University

基础英语和专业英语衔接过程中出现了基础英语教学和专业英语教学脱节、专业英语教学方法滞后、学生在高年级英语水平下降等问题,基础英语与专业英语实现有效衔接的方法或路径有:在基础英语课堂渗透专业英语知识,将叙事教学法融入专业英语课堂教学,基础英语和专业英语课程开设统筹考虑、整体关联等。

There are a serial of problems in the transition of comprehensive English and Specialized English in Qinzhou University,such as comprehensive English teaching disconnecting with specialized English teaching,specialized English teaching method lagged behind,students＇ English competence decreasing in senior grades,etc. This study proposes methods and approaches of effective transition between comprehensive English and Specialized English. Firstly,integrate specialized English knowledge into comprehensive English teaching. Secondly,apply Narrative Instruction to specialized English teaching. Thirdly,set up an overall curriculum for comprehensive English and Specialized English courses.
