第四方物流(Fourth Party Logistics,4PL)概念诞生于20世纪末期的欧美发达国家,强调的是对整个物流供应链的整合和发展,随后成为一个备受关注的行业热点问题。文章首先对第四方物流的基本情况进行介绍,并对第四方物流在我国发展的重大意义进行梳理总结,有利于更好地了解第四方物流建设对我国现代物流业发展的战略意义;其次,在分析第四方物流市场的基础上,提出了在现代港口城市第四方物流运作模式的探讨和设计;最后,对第四方物流发展的前景进行分析,从而实现第四方物流在港口城市的创新与突破。

The concept of fourth party logistics（ 4PL） came into being in the developed countries at the end of the twentieth century. It puts emphasis on integration and development of the whole logistics supply chain, which later became a hotspot issue of concern in logistics industry. Firstly, the thesis gave an introduction to the fundamental state of the fourth party logistics and summarized the significance of its development in China, which helps us to know better about the strategic significance of the fourth party logistics construction to the development of modern logistics industry in China. In the second place, on the basis of analyzing the fourth party logistics market, operation modes of the fourth party logistics in the modern port cities are discussed and designed in this thesis. Finally, the prospect of the fourth party logistics is also analyzed in this thesis, so as to realize the innovation and breakthrough of the fourth party logistics in port cities.
