As a famous research-oriented university,Stanford University is committed to providing world-class higher education for its students.As an important part of undergraduate education,the General Education（GE）Program includes the Ways of Thinking/ Ways of Doing Requirement,Thinking Matters Requirement,Writing and Rhetoric Requirement,Language Requirement.The Program of Economic Major of Undergraduate includes Core Economics Courses,Field Courses,Policy Writing Courses,Elective Courses.The programs have reasonable structures and a large number of courses.And those courses focus on cultivating students’thinking ability and expression skills.They offer important implications to our university curriculum reform.
