全球化的加速发展需要国际通用语的存在,目前英语充当了这一角色,是传播最为广泛的语言。多种英语变体共存,英语多元发展成为主要特征。在分析英语全球传播现状和原因的基础上,尝试从外语教育规划视角探讨其对我国英语教学的启示。

The accelerated development of economic globalization calls for a language as Lingua Franca. Currently Enlish plays this role because of its global spread. English is increasingly diversified with the development of a number of varieties. This paper attempts to analyse the situation and causes of the spread of English, and then explore its implications for China＇s English teaching from the perspective of foreign language planning in education.
