摘要
我国大学英语教学千校一面,课程零散而不成体系着实令广大学者忧心。本文作者根据自己组织全国大学英语课程设置调查及参与《大学英语教学指南》(简称《指南》)研制的经历与感悟,从重申大学英语课程的性质与定位入手,解读《指南》有关课程设置的基本内容,通过新《指南》和上一版《大学英语课程教学要求》(简称《要求》)的对比进一步彰显《指南》的特色,并基于前述解读,预判基于《指南》的新一轮大学英语课程体系建设的趋势与特征。
In order to help end the shortage of diversity and systematicness in college English curriculum in China, this paper, starting with reaffirmation of the nature and position of college English, is intended to demonstrate the possible trends in the establishment of a new college English curriculum system for each university or college through the further interpretation of the content and philosophy of the curriculum part of the Guide to College English Curriculum(hence abbreviated as the Guide) to be soon issued officially and the contrastive ana lysis between the Guide and the College English Curriculum Requirements(hence abbreviated as the Requirements) issued by the Chinese Administration of Education in 2007. It is hoped that the interpretation and the analysis done in this paper could be of some help in building up a healthy curriculum system with diversity nationwide or within a university.
