通识教育视域下高职公共选修课的建设

Research on General Education and Public Elective Course in Higher Vocational Colleges

实施通识教育是高职教育的本质要求,公共选修课是通识教育的基本形式。当前,部分高职院校的公共选修课建设缺乏明晰的理念支撑,课程设置缺乏系统性,难以达到通识教育的目标。借鉴美国社区学院通识教育的基本经验,高职院校应从树立通识教育理念。系统构建选修课程体系、规范学生选课制度、MOOC资源开发利用等方面加强公共选修课建设。

General education is the essential part of higher vocational education and the public elective course is the basic form of that. At present,the construction of public elective courses in higher vocational colleges is lack of clear idea and the curriculum is not systematic. So it is difficult to achieve the goal of general education. By learning successful experience of American Community College in general education,higher vocational colleges should set up an integrated elective curriculum system and make every student choose some areas. MOOC also can be the important part of this system.
