摘要
《教育危机》是阿伦特教育哲学思想的一个集中表达。在这篇文章中,阿伦特着眼于教育与政治之间的本质性关联,认为教育具有新生性与保守性的双重本质。通过对文章的读解,阿伦特的教育哲学思想可归结为四点:(1)教育具有新生性的本质,因此教育问题在根本上是一个政治问题;(2)教育是新世界和旧世界、新人与旧人之间进行沟通和转换的一个中介;(3)教育是私人领域和公共领域之间沟通的一个桥梁;(4)教育离不开传统和权威,而且教育的权威是一种维系于传统之权威的暂时的和绝对的权威。阿伦特这种对教育之本质的解读,既是对人们在教育本质上的误解的清除,也是对教育本质的申论。
"The Crisis in Education" is a concentrated expression of Arendt's philoso- phy of education. In this article, Arendt focuses on the essential association between educa- tion and politics, and points out that education has dual nature of natality and conservatism. By explaining Arendt' s article, we can ascribe her philosophy of education to four points : ( 1 ) Education has the essence of natality, so education is fundamentally a political issue; (2) Education actually is a intermediary between the New World and the old World, the new man and the old man which can communicate and transform the two; (3) Education is actually a bridge of communication between the private sector and public sector; (4) Edu- cation can' t be separated with tradition and authority, and educational authority is a tempo- rary and absolute authority which depends on the authority of tradition.In addition to this, Arendt interpretation of the education's essence not only clears many misunderstanding of the nature of education, but also interprets the essence of education.
