"无用设计"主张将"无用"转化为"有用",其基本运用方法是变通。将"无用设计"的理念与废旧牛仔服装的回收利用联系起来,用变通的方法对废旧牛仔服装进行设计,通过结构、材料、功能的变通挖掘废旧牛仔服装"无用"设计的价值,拓展废旧牛仔服装设计领域,探索废旧牛仔服装"无用"设计的空间。

＂ Useless design＂ is a new design concept. The key concept for it is to turn ＂useless＂ into ＂useful＂. The basic approach is Modifications. This paper combines the concept of ＂useless design＂ with the Recycling of used Jeans. The used jeans are designed in the way of modification, through the modification of structure, materials or function, and then the value of the ＂useless design＂ of used jeans is discovered. This paper is aimed at expanding the design area of used jeans and exploring the ＂useless design＂ space of used jeans.
