摘要
江西某石英砂精矿含铁0.012%,为进一步降低精矿含铁量,采用高梯度磁选法,研究了磁场强度、脉动冲次、给矿浓度及磁介质对石英砂除铁效果的影响。试验结果表明,采用最新研制的SLon(1.8 T)立环脉动高梯度磁选机,在磁场强度1.8 T、磁介质棒直径1.5 mm、脉动冲次50 r/min、给矿浓度25%的条件下获得了作业产率92.77%、含铁0.0077%的石英砂精矿,经济效益和社会效益显著。
High gradient magnetic separation( HGMS) process was introduced to reduce further the iron content of the quartz sand concentrate containing 0. 012% iron from Jiangxi. The influences of magnetic field intensity( MFI),pulsating frequency( PF),feed concentration( FC) and magnetic medium( MM) on iron-removal efficiency were investigated.The results show that the latest-developed SLon( 1. 8 T) vertical ring pulsating high gradient magnetic separator operated under optimized parameters such as MFI of 1. 8 T,PF of 50 r / min,FC of 25% and MM rod diameter of 1. 5 mm,results in a quartz sand concentrate with a process yield of 92. 77% and iron content of 0. 0077%,which can bring significant economic and social benefits.
