New developments in research methods in modern stylistics

现代文体学的发展促使文学研究由依赖直感走向科学化,其中研究方法的科学化是根本。语料库方法、实验方法和多模态方法是现代文体学的三大新兴研究方法,进入新世纪后新方法间也有融合发展的趋势。本文重点讨论三大新兴研究方法的理论基础、研究重点和研究现状、对文体学研究的贡献和自身局限性,并对现代文体学在多学科综合发展时代背景下的研究趋势做出展望。

The development of research methods in modern stylistics plays a crucial role in the transition of the study of modern literature from a traditional impressionistic study to a scientific research. Corpus method, experimental method and multimodal method are the three new approaches in modern stylistics and are becoming popular in the new century, displaying a tendency of the integration of the three. The present article gives a survey on the theoretical foundations, the research foci and latest developments of these methods, their contributions and also the problems that still exist. Finally, the paper presents the developmental prospects of modern stylistics under the multi-disciplinary research background.
