"莲池会"是云南大理白族地区的一个白族妇女民间自发性信仰组织,它具有白族独特的宗教色彩、民俗特征、文化内涵及社会功能。"莲池会"在白族人社会生活中的影响和作用是精华与糟粕并存。应以扬弃的态度保护和传承这一非物质文化遗产,要加强引导,充分认识其社会功能,发挥其道德教化、凝聚人心、文化娱乐、心理慰藉等积极作用。

＂Lily Pond Congregation＂ is a spontaneous folk belief organizations among Bai women in Dali, Yunnan, with unique Bai religion, folklore features, culture connotation and social function. ＂Lily Pond Congregation＂ has positive and negative impacts on Bai people＇s social life. It＇s necessary to protect and inherit this intangible cultural heritage, strengthen the guidance, fully understand the social function, and plays an active role in moral cultivation, unity among people, cultural recreation, and mental consolation.
