摘要
21世纪以来,中非合作取得的成就引起西方世界的关注,甚至是惊慌,"中国威胁论"、"新殖民主义论"、"黄祸论"等非议变得更加喧嚣。在学术领域,美国学者以无学术自由之名排斥孔子学院。本文以博茨瓦纳大学和上海师范大学的合作为例,从博茨瓦纳大学孔子学院、中国学系、非中研究组三个重要学术机构的创建和发展来阐述两校学术合作的自主创新模式及其努力构建中非学术话语体系以挑战西方学术话语统治的学术抱负。
Since the 21st century, the achievements of China-Africa cooperation have aroused the concern and even fear of the Western world, and Western theories against China such as“China threat”,“neocolonialism” and“yellow peril” have been prevailing. In the academic world, some American scholars fight against the Confucius Institute in the name of“no academic freedom”. This paper takes the academic cooperation of the University of Botswana and Shanghai Normal University as an example, illustrating the academic freedom/autonomy and innovative cooperation patterns for Chinese and African universities through the establishment and development of the Confucius Institute, the Department of Chinese Studies and the Africa-China Research Group. The effort, establishing a discourse of China-Africa researches, is to challenge the dominance of the Western academic discourse.
