Taking double-line water-rich loose tunnel in Linfen region of 30 t axle-load railway in central south region of Shanxi province as an example,starting from aspects of tunnel design,collapse treatment,safe excavation,subsidence control and bottom tunnel strengthening,the paper describes tunnel construction technologies,and summarizes matters needing attention in loose tunnel construction,which will provide some guidance for similar engineering construction in future.
