At 0:07 on November 21,2015,a LM-3B carrier rocket lifted off from the Xichang Satellite Launch Center and successfully launched the Laosat-1 telecommunications satellite into orbit.The satellite entered the predetermined transfer orbit smoothly.Chinese President XI Jinping and the Lao President Choummaly Sayasone exchanged congratulatory messages.On behalf of Lao government,Lao Vice President Boungnang Vorachith was present at the Xichang Satellite Launch Center and witnessed the launch of the first telecommunications satellite of Laos.
