Cultural memories in Herta Müller's Atemschaukel

文学作品被普遍当作一种记忆的媒介,它既是个体记忆的媒介,同时也是集体记忆的媒介。以2009年德国诺贝尔文学奖得主赫塔·米勒的长篇小说《呼吸秋千》为研究对象,分析了乡愁、饥饿和劳动营这三重个人记忆,指出小说将个体记忆纳入民族文化记忆的框架之中,对构建集体记忆发挥了作用。

Works of literature help produce cultural memories. The function of the work as media has a constructive role in shaping both individual and collective memory. This paper analyzes the individual memory reflected in Atemschaukel （Hunger Angel）, a novel by 2009 Nobel Prize winner Herta Mtiller, from three aspects including homesickness, chronic hunger as well as life in the labor camp. It also focuses on the outcome that how this novel influences the collective memory.
