文化传播视角下的翻译本质再认识

翻译作为人类用于交际活动的最古老的方式之一,在人类社会发展中起着重要作用。翻译活动是一种特殊形式的信息传递过程,这个过程不仅涉及到一种语言向另一种语言的转化,而且还涉及到不同文化之间的交流融合。因此,翻译的过程是一个文化传播的过程,它承载着跨文化交际的重任。本文从文化传播的角度,分析翻译与语言文化间的关系及其对文化的影响,阐述了文化传播视角下的翻译本质。

Translation, as one of the oldest communicative ways in human beings＇ activities, plays an important role in the development of the society. Translating is a special process for information transformation and it involves not only the conversion of one language to another language, but also the integration of different cultures. Therefore, translation is a process of cultural diffusion and it carries the significant task in the cross-cultural communication. This paper aims to analyze the relationship between translation and language, and the influence of translation on culture from the perspective of the cultural transmission in order to expound the essence of translating.
