About 2002 Chinese Finance and Taxation Museum collected a set of bronze Bo (a series of bells with plane openings and circular knobs) of the Late Spring and Autumn Period. One of the four bells is inscribed with six characters 'Teng Hou Qiu Zhi Ge Zhong'. It documents a king of the Teng State, who is not literarily recorded and remained unknown until discovery of these bells. The bells are regularly shaped in form and delicately casted but have no structure for attuning, which suggests that they might have been made especially for the burial of the king, Teng Hou Qiu.
