女性运动员双重污名现象研究

A Study on the Dual Stigma of Female Athletes

在当今社会体育场域中,当女性运动员的形象超越了父权体制所认为合宜女性的范围时,带有社会负面意涵的评论与责难即开始对女性运动员进行污名化,甚至对其杰出的体育表现产生双重标准的判定。加上受到社会上性别二元分立的价值观影响,由女运动员形象所引起的问题延伸至大众对女性运动员性倾向的讨论,当女运动员无法符合社会异性恋的标准,在体育场上专业的表现通常受到贬低,进而被弱化,最后产生被场域排除的状况。这样不公平的起跑点,让女性运动员本身的发展遭受了莫大的限制。

In current sports domain, when female athletes＇ image surpasses the scope of the female image which is believed appropriate by the patriarchy, comments and blame with social negative implication will start to stig- matize female athletes, and even produce double standards of judgment over their outstanding sports perform- ance. Influenced by the values of binary separation of gender, issues caused by the image of female athletes＇ will extend to the public discussion on sexual orientation of female athletes. When female athletes can＇t accord with the standards of heterosexuality in society, their professional performance on the court will usually be belittled, which will then be weakened and finally lead to the situation of being eliminated by the domain. Such unfair starting point results in great limitations in the development of female athletes.
