《诗经》英译研究的功能语言学途径——以《东门之墠》的经验功能分析为例

A Systematic Functional Linguistics Approach to the English Versions of Book of Songs: A Case Study of Dongmen zhi Shan

利用韩礼德的功能语言学经验纯理功能为理论框架,对《诗经·郑风》中《东门之墠》一诗的五个英文译本做了初步探讨,旨在从语言功能角度对不同译本进行客观评析,揭示翻译过程。此外,也验证了利用功能语言学的理论框架来分析中国古典诗词英文译本的可行性,为《诗经》英译的进一步研究提供有益探索。

This paper aims to analyze five English versions of Dongmen zhi Shan by applying the approach of functional discourse analysis. The result analyzes the five English versions of the poem from the functional perspective and shows that the systematic functional approach is feasible to Chinese poem translation studies. This paper also attempts to broaden the horizon on translation studies of Book of Songs.
