Efflorescence on wall of existing building is a common quality problem. The article introduces the forming mechanism and process of efflorescence on the walls of toilet, and combining some practical cases, it analyzes the causes systematically. In the light of ＂blocking water sauce, cut off water passage＂ principle, the paper formulates and carries out targeted efflorescence treatment plans. The experiences from this project can be reference for the efflorescence treatments of concrete, building outer wall, face brick and stone wall.
