摘要
Myomodulin最初是从软体动物海兔分离纯化得到的一种小分子多肽,主要参与肌肉活动调节,目前已发现10余种类似物存在于多种无脊椎动物体内,但在脊椎动物中还未有研究报道.本文就myomodulin的发现过程、组织定位、生理功能和作用机制方面的研究进展进行了回顾与总结,以期为深入开展myomodulin神经肽家族的机能研究提供资料.
Myomodulin is a small molecule of neuropeptide that originally separated and identified from mollusks Aplysia. It is mainly involved in regulating muscle activity. So far, more than 10 analogues of myomodulin have been discovered in a variety of invertebrate animals. The discovery, localization, biological functions and action mechanisms of myomodulin were reviewed and discussed in this article in order to provide a solid basis for further investigations on the functions and underlying mechanisms of myomodulin family of neuropeptides.
