在我国的教学基础中对于美术的教学还是非常重视的。然而在大多的高中还是以高考主科教学为重,只是把美术当成了副科,放在了可有可无的位置,甚至连学生选择的权利都被剥夺了,这不仅不利于美术教育的深入,还束缚了学生学习美术的机会。其实美术课不仅可以陶冶情操,拓展学生思维,还可以提高学生动手的技能和提高学生创新精神,甚至可以提高学生其他学科的成绩,到达双赢的效果,因此,高中的美术学科非常重要。
