A Discussion about the Research of the Tibetan History- An interview of Professor Tubden Puntsok, a well-known Tibetan scholar

土登彭措教授长期从事藏族历史、藏医学的教学与科研工作。文章对土登彭措教授进行了专访。从他自身学习、研究藏族历史的因缘着重探讨了历史的重要性和藏族传统史学思想以及藏族传统史籍的特点,就藏族历史当前研究成果和现状指出了将来研究的重点和发展方向。同时,对其专著《藏史纲要》的主要内容和结构特点也作了相应阐述。

Professor Tubden Puntsok has long been engaged in the studies of the Tibetan history, and the teachingand research of the Tibetan medicine. This article presents the content of an interview of Professor Tubden Punt-sok. He started from his experience of self-study of the Tibetan history, and the reasons of his research on thehistory of Tibet. Then, he elaborated the importance of history and the characteristics of traditional Tibetan his-torical ideology, history books and records. He also indicated the focus and development direction of the Tibetanhistory research in the future. At last, he introduced main contents and structural characteristics of his own book＂The Outline of the Tibetan History＂.
