Classroom questioning is an important link in English reading teaching, it is also an important means of training students＇ thinking and understanding ability. In this paper, three aspects are discussed： to explore the role of asking questions in English reading teaching, problems that need to be aware and evaluation, in order to improve the effectiveness of classroom questioning, open the gold key of English reading teaching, and improve students＇ English reading ability.
