从社会心态来说,改革开放初期是一个全民满怀希望的时期。这种社会心态源于当时社会变迁引发的帕累托改进,即几乎所有社会阶层的利益都得到增进而没有受损。到1984年之后,社会变迁趋于复杂化,这种全民满怀希望的心态也开始转变,而改革开放初期的1979-1984年间,可以称为是载入中国历史史册的黄金时期。

In terms of social mentality, the initial stage of reform and opening-up was the period in which all the people were full of hopes. This social mentality originated from the Pareto improve- ment triggered by the social changes at that time, that is, the interests of almost all social strata had been enhanced and not damaged. After 1984, the social changes tended to be complicated and this kind of hopeful mentality began to change, but the initial stage of reform and opening up from 1979 to 1984 can be referred to as the golden period in Chinese history.
