摘要
柿子滩遗址发现于1980年，是一处重要的旧石器时代晚期遗址。2000～2008年，对柿子滩遗址S14、S12㈦和S9地点进行了重点发掘。2009～2010年，为配合青兰高速公路建设，对柿子滩遗址又进行了复查和抢救性发掘。S5地点为此次发掘的重要地点之一。
The Locality S5 of the Shizitan Site is an Upper Paleolithic microlithic site of about 20-10 ka BP in Jixian County, Shanxi Province. The site was discovered in 2009 and excavated in 2010. Totally four cultural layers were identified in the fluvial terrace of Qingshuihe River. The remains, including stone artifacts, animal fossils and human fossils, were concentratedly distributed around the fire-using traces. The human tooth, which is the first finding in the primary horizon at Shizitan Site, could provide valuable material and message for the study on human evolution at Late Upper Pleistocene.
