随着《教育部关于办好开放大学的意见》的颁布,中国开放大学迎来了发展的黄金时代和战略机遇期,同时也肩负着厚重的历史使命。开放大学建设要面对建立质量观、质量关、质量文化和质量信誉的挑战,为省市电大转型升级探路,要探索中国特色开放大学体系的建立,探索当代高等教育新理念、新模式,可谓任重而道远。

with the issue of the Opinions of the Ministry of Education about Successful Operation of Open University,Open University is facing with golden age of development and strategic opportunity,as well as heavy historical mission. Open University has to be confronted with the challenges of concept of quality,quality,culture of quality and quality reputation. In order to explore the way for the transformation and upgrading of provincial and municipal TV universities,Open University should probe the establishment of the Open University system with Chinese characteristics,new idea and new mode of the contemporary higher education,so it has a long way to go.
