The overview of the involvement of anti-prM antibody in the ADE phenomenon

登革病毒感染在热带和亚热带地区是一种常见的病毒性疾病,主要通过虫蚊叮咬感染人类。登革病毒分为四个亚型,异型二次感染时引起登革出血热和登革休克,抗体依赖增强作用在体内外已被证实是登革二次感染导致严重病症的主要机制。prM抗体具有潜在的抗体依赖增强作用活性和低中和能力。本文主要讨论prM抗体在登革病毒抗体依赖增强作用中的研究进展。

Dengue virus infection is a common arthropod-borne virus illness in tropical and sub-tropical areas. Dengue virus have four DENV serotypes, DENV Ⅰ to Ⅳ. Secondary dengue infection is the main cause of dengue hemorrhagic fever and dengue shock. Andibody-dependent enhancement（ADE） has been proposed as cause of severity of the disease in a secondary dengue infection.Anti-prM antibodies have potent ADE activity and low neutralization capacity. The involvement of anti-prM antibody in the ADE phenomenon is discussed in this article.
