A Study of Yes-No questions in Yulin Dialect

是非问句是玉林话最常用的一种问句形式,其构成也是陈述句形式加疑问语气词或疑问语调。玉林话中常出现在是非问句末尾的语气词主要有8个,而真正算得上疑问语气词的只有5个;疑问语调主要有高升语调和低平语调两种。它与广州话是非问句相比有同有异。文中拟从疑问功能的角度来分类描写和分析玉林话的是非问句,并同广州话的是非问句进行比较,以揭示玉林话是非问句的特点。

Yes-no question in Yulin dialect is a declarative sentence plus an interrogative particle or interrogative intonation.There are eight frequently appeared particles,but only five of them are considered as real interrogative particles.There are two kinds of interrogative intonation:high-rise and low-level.This paper analyzes the yes-no questions in Yulin Dialect from the perspective of interrogative function,and compares them with yes-no questions in Cantonese so as to reveal the characteristic of yes-no questions in Yulin Dialect.
