The development and imbalance problems of Guangxi＇s regional economy have been existed all the time, so, to support and accelerate the coordinative development of Guangxi＇s regional economic is the strategy of major regional economic planning. This paper discusses the present development of Guangxi＇s regional economic and the development of high-speed rail, and briefly discusses the opportunities and challenges of Guangxi＇s regional economic development in the period of high speed railway.
