摘要
明清时期朝廷为解决会通河的水源不足问题而采取了一系列措施。修筑水柜为其中之一。山东运河沿岸形成了北五湖和南四湖。马场湖位于北五湖的最南端。数百年来,马场湖从最初蓄水济运的水柜发展到最终的退湖还田,经历了沧桑之变。
During the Ming and Qing dynasties, the governor adopted a series of measures to solve water shortage problem of the Huitong canal.Construction of water tank was one of them.The Beiwu lakes and Nansi lakes formed along the Shandong canal. Machang lake was located in the southernmost of Beiwu lakes. For hundreds of years, It turned into fertile fields from the canal reservoir.
