PDS模式下的中学英语教师继续教育培训——以成都市D学校为例

摘要 教师专业发展学校(PDS),是一种立足中小学,与大学合作的教师继续教育培训的新模式,能充分考虑到教师的需求、学校的要求和高校的追求,并能保证教师在不离岗的情况下完成教师培训。成都市某中学与大学在此基础上建立了这样一所教师发展学校,主要培训该校的英语教师,并期望通过英语教师培训,提升英语教师的综合素养、组建学习共同体。探索出英语教师继续教育培训的有效途径,从英语学科复制到其他学科,从而形成良好的校园氛围和文化。 Professional Development School of Teachers( PDS) is a new model of teachers' training based on the cooperation between the middle schools and the university. This new model takes the teachers' needs,the requirement of the school and the pursuit of the university into consideration,and guarantees that teachers can receive training without leaving the work place. In Chengdu,one middle school and one university working together establish such schools to train the English teachers of that school,improving the comprehensive qualities of the English teachers,and forming the learning community. Finally with the development of PDS,we can find an effective way of English teachers training,which can be applied to other subjects to create good school environment and culture.
