探讨多媒体网络环境下的大学英语大班教学

The Study of College English Teaching in Large-Scale Classes under Multimedia Network Environment

随着高等院校的大规模扩招,大学英语大班教学成为一种普遍的模式。为解决大班教学学生太多的问题,教师一般采用满堂灌式教学方式,这种方式存在着互动交流少的弊端,因此,包括多媒体、网络技术在内的先进教学手段应亟待引入和加强。本文以建构理论和协同学习理论为指导,分析大班教学现状,探讨利用多媒体网络技术在大班教学中的优势,并结合自身在大班大学英语教学的实践经验加以论证,探索出多媒体网络教学在大班教学中应用的新模式。

With the enrollment expansion in colleges and universities, teaching college English in large- scale classes is a general pattern of foreign language teaching. To address the problems of too many students in large-scale classes, cramming method of teaching, a way lack of interaction is generally adopted. Therefore, advanced teaching methods, including multimedia and network technologies, should be introduce d and strengthened. Based on Construct Theory and collaborative learning theory as guidance, this research aims to analyze the current situations of large-scale classes, explores the advantages of multimedia teaching applying in large-scale classes and probes into a new model of college English teaching with personal teaching experience in large-scale classes.
